Job summary

APT Electronics, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Inspector to monitor, test, and inspect all production processes, ensuring product quality and adherence to standards.

The role includes interpreting drawings, monitoring product development, and ensuring quality of purchased and finished goods. You will operate AOI machines, complete training, document inspections, and identify problems with recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma and IPC 610/J-STD-001 certification.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing as inspector or operator (minimum 2 years).
• Proficient in in-process and final inspection and capable of documenting QA processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor development of all products manufactured by the company.
• Ensure quality of products and services from APT.
• Inspect all processes involved in production.
• Ensure quality of purchased and finished goods.
• Recommend reprocessing of low quality products.
• Document inspections and tests conducted on products.
• Maintain inspection checklists and protocols.
• Identify problems and recommend solutions to management.
• Identify electronic components.
• Operate AOI machines with moderate, complex setups and close visual inspection.
• Complete training assigned to AOI Operator.
