Job description

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our Albuquerque, NM location at Kirtland AFB. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $57,304 to $67,704, requiring a High School Diploma or GED, a Secret security clearance, and relevant experience in quality control.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing and managing the Quality Control Program to ensure contract compliance.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality standards and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with project personnel to ensure quality workmanship and timely task completion.
  • Document inspection results and participate in corrective actions for non-compliance issues.
  • Use inspection software to record and report findings.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, codes, and regulations.
  • Support training and maintain records of employee certifications.
  • Operate government or company vehicles and equipment safely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks and safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent (2 years) experience in QA/QC.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOE L-level clearance.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on QA/QC experience, preferably in facility maintenance.
  • Knowledge of accepted workmanship standards and QA/QC policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of QA/QC experience in facility maintenance contracts.
