Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician to ensure construction work meets plans and specifications through on-site inspections, testing, and documentation.

You will perform inspections during installation, capture non-conformances, report findings, and work with teams to implement corrective actions in all weather conditions, including overtime and travel as needed. This role demands reliability and strong attention to detail to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid State driver's license with clean record.
• One year of relevant work experience.
• Quality control experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of telecom construction standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during installation to meet plans and specs.
• Perform final inspections as requested to ensure construction standards.
• Identify issues and report to team members for resolution.
• Record non-compliance issues and follow up until resolved.
• Ensure required testing is completed and document results.
• Support project activities and installation milestones as directed.
• Travel, overtime, and after-hours work as needed in all weather.

At Ansco & Associates, LLC, as a Quality Control Field Technician, you’ll ensure that construction or installation work meets specified standards by performing inspections, conducting tests, and monitoring compliance throughout projects. You’ll address issues, document findings, and collaborate with teams to implement improvements and maintain high-quality outcomes

What you’ll do

• Conduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specifications
• Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards
• Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution
• Record and follow up on non-compliance issues until they are resolved
• Ensure all required testing is completed as specified and document the results
• Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• One year of relevant work experience
• Quality control experience preferred
• Associates Degree in an industry related field or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction industry standard practices
• Knowledge of Customer Installation Standards and Documentation

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walking, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally: work at heights, use ladder, life greater than 55 pounds
