Job summary

LG Chem Advance Materials, Inc. in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to lead quality management for a mass production line and establish an analytical lab. The role is full-time and on-site, reporting to the Quality Manager.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in manufacturing/operations engineering with strong problem-solving skills, PPE readiness, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing/operations engineering or relevant technical field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be on-call.
• Willing to wear PPE and work in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the quality performance of production lines; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards during production.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Manage containment actions and escalation for critical quality issues affecting production or customers.
• Review and approve engineering changes and process modifications from a quality perspective.
• Prepare and present quality reports for internal stakeholders.
