Job summary

Crowder-Constructors-Inc is seeking an experienced inspector to perform material inspections, evaluate weld qualifications, and ensure QC across civil, mechanical, and structural trades on multi-state projects.

Responsibilities include documenting tests, coordinating NDE contractors, and verifying compliance with drawings and codes, with a focus on delivering verified final work packages for performance-based contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years or equivalent in performing inspections.
• Experience with ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS, RCSC, API and ASNT.

Responsibilities

• Receipt inspections of materials at project job sites.
• Perform and/or evaluate tests for qualification of welders and welding procedures to ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1.
• Perform inspections and document in accordance with codes and contract requirements.
• QA/QC error prevention and physical inspection of construction activities (civil, concrete, epoxy anchors, structural steel, bolting, grouting, mechanical, pressure testing, coatings).
• Coordinate NDE inspection contractors.
• Conduct pressure tests and document results per code and contract requirements.
• Verify compliance to drawings, codes, and project specifications.
• Create and collect verification documents for final work packages.

Additional Requirements for Craftworkers

• Must haveown transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required)
• Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
• May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

Duties

• Perform Inspections and document in accordance with: Code of Construction, Government Standards and contract requirements
• QA/QC error prevention and physical inspection of construction activities i.e…Civil, Concrete, Epoxy Anchors, Structural Steel, Bolting (RCSC), Grouting, Mechanical, Pressure Testing, Coatings…etc.
• Coordination of NDE Inspection contractors.
• Conduct Pressure Test and document results in accordance with Code and contract requirements.
• Verification of compliance to drawings, code, & project specification requirements.
• Responsible for creating and collecting verification documents for final work packages.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
