Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to support a rapidly growing manufacturing client. The role emphasizes incoming part QC, PO status updates, vendor communication, and tracking shipments of materials.

You will collaborate with the Operations team to ensure quality and on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years in manufacturing, and be proficient in SolidWorks, 3D modeling, Excel, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D modeling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems.
• Supplier quality, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspections, and quality systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling and Assemblies: Create and maintain spec sheets and 3D models of all parts.
• Testing and Inspection: Check parts for quality issues and/or missing specifications. Coordinate and ship parts to third party testing facility, manage follow up and return of items. Ensure all PO requirements are followed on all shipments.
• Process Monitoring: Track manufacturing steps and document accordingly.
• Product Supply and Deliveries: Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding order status, product requirements, and potential delays
• Team Collaboration: Work with the Operations team to correct QC issues, customer order requirements and implement best practices.
