Job summary

Sapphire HR Innovations in San Juan, PR is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to help shape clinical quality standards and ensure patient safety. This role offers an active, team-driven environment in a fast-growing healthcare-focused organization.

You’ll oversee QA systems, collect and evaluate study files, ensure supplier and manufacturing quality, test products, draft SOPs, and support internal training and process improvement while maintaining meticulous records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and patient confidentiality.
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in quality processes and statistical techniques; understanding of test equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to analyze information.
• Adaptability to fast-paced mixed office and lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing quality control systems and processes.
• Collecting and evaluating study files to ensure quality and integrity.
• Ensuring contract compliance by reviewing quality requirements for supplier PO, manufacturing, and related services.
• Testing products across pre-production, in-process, and final stages to ensure quality.
• Drafting and maintaining SOPs, manuals, logs, records, and QA documentation.
• Verifying personnel follow quality control procedures and updating policies.
• Supporting recruitment, patient outreach calls, office inventory, purchasing, and system administration.

What You'll Do

• Overseeing and managing quality control systems and processes
• Collecting and evaluating study files to ensure they meet acceptable quality and integrity standards
• Ensuring contract compliance by reviewing and approving quality requirements for supplier purchase orders, manufacturing, and related services
• Testing products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met
• Drafting and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, logs, records, and documentation for QA processes
• Verifying that all personnel follow quality control procedures while helping check and update policies
• Supporting recruitment and patient outreach calls, office inventory, purchasing, and real-time system administration

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Exceptional attention to detail, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient confidentiality
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to manage files and records effectively
• Proficiency in quality processes and statistical techniques, backed by a solid understanding of test equipment
• Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, mixed office and laboratory setting
