Job summary

Pharmavite in Ohio is seeking a Coordinator I for inventory management of general lab supplies, solvents, acids, and reagents. You will manage COAs, process COA data, handle lab spend via POs, and coordinate external testing and routine instrument maintenance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years in a regulated manufacturing environment; GMP/QA experience is preferred. Overtime and safe GMP practices apply.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, or 2 years of college/work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with GMP/QA familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and tracks shipment of samples to external lab testing or other Pharmavite QC lab, receipt of test reports, and entry of lab test results in LIMS.
  • Ensures outside lab testing compliance against product specifications.
  • Inputs COA results, conducts calculations when necessary, and follows up with vendors if there is any missing information.
  • Responsible for managing the inventory of general lab supplies, solvents, acids, reagents, etc.
  • Manages the expenses through POs and expense reports.
  • Generates certificates of analysis (COA) for customer service, ensuring adherence to GDP and GMP regulations.
  • Schedule and track routine lab instrument qualifications and maintenance.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for inventory management of general lab supplies, such as solvents, acids, and reagents, including ordering supplies, instrument qualification/maintenance management, generating certificates of analysis (COA) for customer service, and submitting expense reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and tracks shipment of samples to external lab testing or other Pharmavite QC lab, receipt of test reports, and entry of lab test results in LIMS. Follows up with external labs for completion of tests and reports the test results as needed.
  • Ensures outside lab testing compliance against product specifications.
  • Inputs COA results, conducts calculations when necessary, and follows up with vendors if there is any missing information.
  • Responsible for managing the inventory of general lab supplies, solvents, acids, reagents, etc. Finds information for products and equipment, gets quotes for QC, and places orders for the said materials or equipment.
  • Manages the expenses through POs and expense reports.
  • Generates certificates of analysis (COA) for customer service, ensuring adherence to GDP and GMP regulations.
  • Schedule and track routine lab instrument qualifications and maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or a minimum of 2 years of college education or equivalent experience in a related manufacturing field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Experience with GMPs and Quality Control or Quality Assurance preferred.

  • The employee is required to wear all PPE, i.e., protective eyewear, hearing protection, hairnet, safety shoes, uniforms, etc., in GMP-regulated areas.

National Target Base Pay Range: $46,000.00 - $76,000.00.

The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $52,000.00 - $85,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) match, and other wellness benefits.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.

Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
