ACCIONA is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator for the Louisiana Bridge Builders project based in Lake Charles, LA. The role focuses on coordinating, documenting, and reporting quality activities to support project success.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of quality experience, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of quality experience. Experience with ISO 9001 QMS in construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ISO 9001 on QMS for Design-Build construction preferred.

Position Purpose/Summary

The Quality Control Coordinator is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by coordinating, documenting, and reporting quality activities for the Project.

Location

This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of Project Quality Management System documents.
• Ensure quality documentation and required records for the Project are accurate and up to date.
• Compile comprehensive reports detailing quality performance, highlighting trends, and suggesting corrective actions and lessons learnt.
• Collaborate in the digitalization of quality records.
• Conduct training activities on the quality management system for the project team.
• Participate in audits carried out on the Project Quality Management System.
• Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

At a minimum, the Quality Control Coordinator must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study along with 3+ years of related quality experience and proven knowledge in the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard on Quality Management System (QMS) or high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 7+ years of related quality experience and proven knowledge in the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard on Quality Management System (QMS). Experience working with Design‑Build projects within the construction industry and implementation of quality management and quality control digital tools is preferred.
