Position Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect all daily Quality Assurance (QA) paperwork from the Lab Lead. Organize and file documentation by product and production date, ensuring all required records are complete. Track and report any missing documentation.
- Coordinate the shipment of quality retain samples according to customer-specific requirements and schedules. Prepare and ship microbiological samples and other biological samples for the laboratory and blending departments as required.
- Maintain and log daily production folders and submit them to the QA Manager for review at least every other working day to ensure compliance with audit requirements for review within seven days of production.
- Receive, review, log, and maintain all Master Sanitation records for the facility, ensuring documentation is complete, organized, and readily available for internal and external audits.
- Maintain the QA Work Aid Book by tracking required updates and ensuring all revisions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with audit preparation, including compiling Red Bull QA complaint reports and gathering all required supporting documentation.
- Collect daily packaging samples from incoming shipments to perform packaging integrity testing and support finished product quality verification.
- Monitor finished product and packaging hold inventories for all customers. Submit non-conforming hold documentation through customer DMR portals, follow up on disposition requests, and assist with hold investigations.
- Tag and identify finished product and packaging holds as required to ensure proper inventory control and compliance.
- Travel to company facilities, customer warehouses, or other designated locations as needed to support investigations, sample collection, or quality-related activities.
- Maintain the organization of the retain sample cage and laboratory inventory to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of samples and supplies.
- Order laboratory supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Provide backup support for Lab Technicians and other Lab Assistants as needed.
- Generate and email Redzone finished product data to customers upon request.
- Support consumer complaint investigations by gathering samples, documentation, and other information as required.
- Maintain calibration records for laboratory equipment and coordinate calibration services to ensure all equipment is calibrated prior to expiration and remains in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Quality Management.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.).
- Experience and knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use advanced reporting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or SAP.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to sort through complex information are essential.
- Maintenance of the confidentiality of any personal or company information encountered.
- Possess the ability to implement innovation in how we work.
This position will split time between an office environment, the production floor and quality lab. The position is Monday through Friday but will require nights and weekend work as needed to meet customers’ requirements. The position may require travel to other CBG or customer locations.
