This role blends on-site inspections with involvement across estimating, sales, operations, installation, and training to ensure workmanship meets company standards and manufacturer requirements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial roofing QA, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), and is capable of coaching field teams while coordinating with manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial roofing installation or roofing technical quality assurance.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; IIBEC certification a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on active and completed roofing projects.
• Ensure work complies with company standards, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
• Prepare clear, photo-documented inspection reports with corrective recommendations.
• Coach and support foremen and field teams on quality workmanship.
• Coordinate in-progress and final inspections with manufacturers and operations teams.
• Track quality deficiencies and identify trends for continuous improvement.
• Support field and classroom training, including apprenticeship programs.
• Communicate quality performance results to operations leadership.

Skills, Experience, And Knowledge Required

Education

Bachelors degree preferred, not required

Experience

At least 5 years in commercial roofing installation or roofing technical quality assurance

Registered Roof Observer IIBEC certification a plus but not required

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Successful Pre-Employment Drug
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
• Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
• Successful Background Check
• Bilingual ( English/Spanish) Preferred
