Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Computer skills with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Experience with method validations and instrument qualifications.
• Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIM system.
• Experience with Empower 3 or similar data acquisition system.

Responsibilities

• Perform method development and method improvement
• Perform method validations, method transfers with other sites or suppliers, and periodic method reviews
• Perform compendial assessments and changes
• Perform instrument qualifications, periodic validation reviews, and various instrument lifecycle tasks
• Manage complex technical projects and make key technical decisions
• Provide troubleshooting support to the analytical chemistry lab on instrument and method issues
• Provide support for laboratory investigations and corrective actions
