Grace is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to join our Fine Chemical Manufacturing Services team! This role reports to the Quality Manager and is located at the Tyrone, Pennsylvania site. The Tyrone Site produces a portfolio of products including specialty pharmaceutical and agricultural chemicals, refinery catalysts, and performance chemicals. Consisting of a pilot plant and custom manufacturing at commercial volumes, the site is fully equipped to develop and manufacture custom chemicals. Tyrone is located in central Pennsylvania within twenty-five minutes of Penn State University.
The QC Chemist will support the analytical efforts of the R&D lab as well as plant production within QC. He or she will bring analytical innovation and strong communication skills both within a team and with customers. While experience with GC/HPLC techniques is essential, other analytical expertise in the areas of impurity identification, NMR, GCMS, LCMS, or method development are of particular interest.
