Job summary

OMI Industries is seeking a Quality Control Chemist I to perform physical property testing of products and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. The role involves sample preparation, data entry, equipment maintenance, and stability testing to support product development.

The candidate will work in a manufacturing environment in Indiana with regular Monday–Thursday shifts, contributing to quality assurance and process improvements across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work in ISO 9001 quality environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical property testing per procedures and ISO 9001.
• Input data into internal systems with traceability.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and glassware.
• Prepare samples and conduct water and bacteria testing per procedures.
• Investigate abnormal results and report findings.
• Assist in development of new formulas and stability testing.
