Job summary

Linde plc in Geismar, LA is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform GMP/SOP-based testing of products and raw materials. You will maintain calibration records, operate analytical equipment, run GC analyses, and determine pass/fail statuses for production samples while supporting production and customer service.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or math or equivalent experience, experience with gas chromatography and process gas analyzers, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Experience with gas chromatography and process gas analyzers preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on products per GMP and SOPs.
• Perform quality control testing on raw materials per GMP and SOPs.
• Produce and maintain calibration records.
• Maintain analytical equipment.
• Determine pass/fail status of production samples submitted to lab.
• Provide technical support to production and customer service as needed.
• Carry out all preventive maintenance duties assigned.
• Compile, organize and maintain test data records.
• Produce accurate analytical certifications.
• Use Gas Chromatography to analyze and certify complex liquid and gas calibration standards.
• Perform analytical duties in support of plant validation team.
• Complete and maintain FDA medical gas paperwork.
• Perform all other duties assigned.
