Now Hiring Quality Control Chemist

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field required
• Minimum 1 year of cGMP laboratory experience (pharmaceutical or biotechnology preferred)
• Experience with analytical instrumentation, including HPLC/UPLC, GC, MS, FTIR, LC/MS, or similar equipment
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and cGMP documentation practices
• Excellent attention to detail and technical documentation skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment

Job Duties

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using laboratory instrumentation
• Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions according to established test methods and procedures
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical laboratory equipment
• Accurately document testing results in compliance with cGMP and quality standards
• Identify, investigate, and report quality issues while supporting corrective actions
• Assist with updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
• Support additional quality control and laboratory activities as assigned
