Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a QC Chemist II for a full-time, direct-hire position in Irvine, CA. You will perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using a range of laboratory instrumentation, supporting cGMP-compliant operations and data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry and 2–5 years in a pharmaceutical chemistry lab, with experience in HPLC, GC, MS, and related techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years in a pharmaceutical chemistry laboratory.
  • 2–5 years with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, CE, ICP, FTIR, TOC, MS, and dissolution apparatus.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform concurrent tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and/or assist with analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Utilize analytical laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision.
  • Comply with cGMP regulations and follow SOPs.
  • Peer review data generated by other technicians.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment within level of experience.
  • Perform and/or assist with equipment calibrations and qualifications.
  • Other related duties as required.

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00hour

Overview

Our Client is an industry-leading company at the forefront of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, delivering high-quality products through rigorous analytical science and cGMP-compliant laboratory operations.

In this role, you will be performing analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products while utilizing a wide range of sophisticated laboratory instrumentation. You will work within a collaborative QC environment, ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations and contributing to the integrity of data that supports product quality and patient safety.

Schedule

Full-Time M-F Onsite

Responsibilities
  • Perform and/or assist with analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Utilize analytical laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision
  • Comply with cGMP regulations and follow all standard operating procedures
  • Peer review data generated by other technicians

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
