Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical compounds using techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to ensure accuracy, precision, specificity, and robustness by regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA).
• Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for analysis, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain sample integrity.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets, ensuring accurate reporting of results. Utilize statistical tools to assess data quality and consistency.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all experiments, procedures, and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
• Prepare technical reports and summaries as required.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including formulation scientists, process chemists, and quality assurance, to support product development and problem-solving.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant applicable experience (various chemist roles available depending on experience; entry-level graduates are welcome to apply).
• Familiarity/experience with the following instrumentation: HPLC, GC, GC-MS, wet chemistry.
• Familiarity working in a GMP environment is preferred.
