Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Quality Control Assurance Specialist is to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial and account maintenance activities. This role focuses on conducting thorough audits, coordinating with compliance teams, and overseeing JSOX and audit functions to maintain high standards of operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits on account services activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of financial records, documentation, and reports.
  • Oversee and coordinate JSOX and audit functions, ensuring that all processes adhere to established standards.
  • Assist management in identifying areas of improvement in account services processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide actionable suggestions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of account maintenance practices.
  • Monitor and assess phone calls and customer interactions to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal/regulatory guidelines.
  • Respond to and manage audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of required information.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to create, update, and maintain documents critical to Quality Control.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Two (2) years minimum experience in financial auditing, account maintenance, or a related field.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, account maintenance practices, and JSOX requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional reports and documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products or related software.
  • Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.
  • Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is preferred!
  • Certifications in auditing or financial management is a plus!

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
