Qualifications

• Experience performing quality inspections with a microscope is preferred.
• Experience in the medical devices industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in QA procedures related to production or operations.
• Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of QA and control processes.
• Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures for QA and control.
• Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
• The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making.
• The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline.
• The technical procedures for this level are well defined.
• The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgements in straightforward situations.
• Typically requires selecting between solutions already established.
