Job summary

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Must have 2+ years experience working in a quality control position for apparel manufacturing; cut & sew knits experience preferred. Ensure garments are sewn to specifications and adhere to factory quality guidelines as per approved technical packages.


• Measure garments in the active QC area to ensure they meet specifications.


• Trim, press, and package final product.


• Collaborate in all areas of the department.


• Log any defects such as holes, stains, shading.


• Identify repetitive quality issues in production and report them to the Factory Operations Supervisor for corrective action.


• Regularly report QC findings and concerns to the Factory Operations Supervisor and Factory leadership team. Maintain accountability for quality standards, ensuring garments are accurate to specifications before passing to the next production phase.


• Perform voluntary overtime as needed.


• Work in a safety-sensitive environment.


• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands. Must be able to perform job functions with limited supervision.

• Dependability: Ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and maintain confidentiality.

• Planning and organizing: Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.


• Problem solving: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret and resolve issues using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


• Technical: Must have computer skills (Google, Gmail, Google Sheets).


• Physical demands: Work by standing multiple hours of the day, reaching, bending, occasional lifting (max. 50 lbs), and walking.
