Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of molecular QC experience is expected.
  • Work independently and complete assignments within given instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Quality Control testing and final acceptance tests.
  • Conduct routine and non-routine testing for NGS products.
  • Follow ISO and safety guidelines during QC sample processing.

Skills

Excellent communication skills
Good micro-pipetting skills
Familiarity with Elisa testing

Education

Associate degree in Biology/Chemistry

We are looking for a Quality Control Associate to join our team in Baltimore, MD!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Quality Control (QC) testing and final acceptance tests for product release.
  • Performs manufacturing inspections, checks testing, and sampling procedures for incoming components and raw materials to ensure standards are met.
  • Performs routine and non-routine testing in support of next-generation sequencing (NGS) finished and in-process products from manufacturing processes.
  • Follows all ISO, cGMP/cGDP/cGLP, Environmental Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Participates in the execution of Validation & Verification protocols.
  • Supports monitoring of critical equipment and instrumentation, assists with weekly and monthly lab maintenance, and manages equipment logs and calibration.
  • Participates in Lean Daily Management activities and supports 5S initiatives.
  • Upholds high safety standards in all job aspects.
  • Works with hazardous chemicals during QC sample processing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good micro-pipetting skills and familiarity with Elisa testing are desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions and routines.
  • Experience with Lean Daily Management preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft) preferred.
  • Knowledge of NGS preferred.
  • Associate degree in Biology/Chemistry with 1-2 years of molecular QC experience, or a BA/BS in Chemistry, Biology, or related field with similar experience.

Pay Range: $27-28/hr

All offers are based on skills, experience, and internal and market considerations.
