Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician Apprentice in Hubbard, TX, to learn and contribute on projects critical to building North America’s infrastructure. The role emphasizes accelerated onboarding, mentorship, and hands-on testing of materials under supervision.

You will collect samples, perform QC tests, and assist with problem-solving alongside experienced staff while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Travel 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Prepare required documents with test results to be presented to production personnel and quality control management.
• Examines laboratory samples to determine their physical properties and conformity.
• Records and prepares summaries of findings using various databases.
• Assist in the investigation and testing, and sampling of raw materials to help solve quality problems.
• Provides verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner.
