Job summary

Bimeda in Le Sueur, MN is seeking a Quality Control Analyst II to perform analytical testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, finished products and stability materials, ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs and Bimeda quality standards. The role supports the Stability Program and guides junior team members.

Responsibilities include performing HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR and other instrument analyses, reviewing data and documentation, calibrating equipment, and assisting with quality investigations

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a Pharmaceutical Analytical testing lab & supporting stability programs.
• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
• Analytical wet chemistry lab experience using titration, pH, Potency, Conductivity, Viscosity, TOC, UV, IR, GC, HPLC assays.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all analytical (physical & chemical) testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, gases, water, and stability program samples (e.g., pH, conductivity, TOC, viscosity, potency).
• Reviews data, results, and documentation for QC analytical testing.
• Ensures compliance with GMP/GLP, SOPs and safety policies.
• Prepares samples for analysis according to methods and SOPs; uses USP/EP where applicable.
• Performs calibration and troubleshooting of equipment; arranges repairs with vendors as needed.
• Mentors and supports junior Analysts and Technicians.
• Keeps work areas clean and glassware properly maintained.
