Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a QC Analyst II for the Night Shift to perform analytical testing across raw materials, in-process, and finished products, supporting release and manufacturing. Join a quality-focused team dedicated to delivering safe therapies and continuous improvement.

The role offers a night-shift schedule (Sun-Wed, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM) and opportunities for growth within Lonza's Quality and Manufacturing functions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory or cGMP environment.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends or issues.
• Experience using laboratory software/tools and quality systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, continuous learning, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples to support product quality.
• Deliver accurate and timely laboratory results to support manufacturing operations and product release.
• Review analytical data and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document laboratory activities, investigations, and quality records in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain laboratory materials, supplies, and organization to support efficient operations.
• Develop knowledge in environmental monitoring, biochemistry, and microbiology testing methods.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and technical teams to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Shift: Sunday through Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 4 x 10-hour schedule
