Job summary

PetIQ, LLC seeks a Quality Control Analyst I to support analytical testing and reporting for production and release at our Omaha, NE facility. This role maintains lab equipment, prepares batch records, and assists in CAPAs and deviations, with emphasis on accurate data and documentation.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in science and 0–2 years QC lab experience, proficient in Excel/Word, and strong communication skills to operate in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent work experience in a scientific or pharmaceutical field.
• 0-2 years of experience in QC laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing and reporting in support of production, raw material and product release; ensure cGMP compliance.
• Laboratory instrumentation operation, system checks, calibrations and maintenance.

Job description

QualityControlAnalyst Irolewillperform analytical testingand reportingin support of production, rawmaterialand product release. This role willbe responsible forlaboratory equipment and instrumentmaintenance andday to dayoperation at Omaha, NE Manufacturing Facility.

• Maintain lab supplies,reagentsand standards
• Create and issue batch records
• Maintain personal laboratory work area andassistin general laboratory cleaning
• Write OOS investigations and reporting
• Assistsin CAPAs and Deviations
• QC data generation, review,controland retention
• Generation of product Certificates of Analysis (CoA)
• Write and execute Stability Studies
• Performs other support functions as assigned
• Able to perform job duties with minimal direction of senior Quality personnel

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

• Perform analytical testingand reportingin support of production, raw material and product release, productdevelopmentand stabilityin accordance withprocedural and cGMP requirements
• Laboratory instrumentation operation, system suitability checks,calibrationsand maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
• Ability to read and follow written procedures
• Strong communicationskills, oral and written
• Must be proficient inMicrosoft Outlook (or similar) and comfortable working inMicrosoft Word andMicrosoftExcel.
• PreviousQuality experience in aregulatedenvironment preferred.
• Computer skills and use of databases for specifications
• 0-2 years of experience ininQC laboratory setting

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent work experience in a scientific or pharmaceutical field

Preferred Qualifications:

• PreviousQuality Assurance experience in an EPA/FDA environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
