Job summary

OraSure Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Specialist I to perform materials and product testing in a compliant lab environment. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs/WIs, proper documentation, and participation in corrective actions. Travel to Bethlehem, PA sites may be required.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in quality or science and familiarity with cGLP/cGMP. The position supports the QC lab team, maintains equipment, and contributes to product quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Undergraduate degree in quality or science preferred.
• Experience with cGLP/GMP and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
• Strong documentation and data review skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and evaluations of raw materials, in‑process samples, finished products, and stability programs per WIs/SOPs.
• Document results and maintain compliance with cGLP, GMP and applicable regulations.
• Support investigations into deviations, CAPA, and root cause analyses.
• Assist in training QC staff and maintaining lab equipment and PPE.
