OraSure Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Specialist I in Bethlehem, PA. The role focuses on evaluating raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability programs in compliance with cGLP and GMP guidelines.

You will perform testing, participate in investigations, and maintain documentation while supporting training and calibration of lab equipment. The position may involve local travel within the Bethlehem area.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to consistently follow quality and safety protocols.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
• Well-developed communication skills both written and oral
• Flexible and able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all procedures accurately and according to WI/SOPs for Quality Control.
• Performs testing including raw materials, in-process samples, finished products and stability programs.
• Participates in customer complaint investigations with required testing and reporting.
• Supports failure investigations and validation protocols.
• Completes paperwork according to cGLP and GMP guidelines.
