Job summary

Meridian Life Science, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products in line with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

You will assist in method validation, data analysis and training of new analysts. The role focuses on maintaining the quality system, performing release testing, and supporting deviations and investigations in a fast-paced biopharma environment in Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train others and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with statistical tools and GMP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Write and revise SOPs or other controlled documents in accordance with applicable regulations
• Understand principles of Quality Management System and CGMP/GLP/GDP standards
• Perform and document raw material, in-process, and final release testing with various methods
• Perform data analysis of test results and review data for SOPs and specifications
• Maintain and organize laboratory supplies and QC retain inventories
• Assist in evaluations, method development and validation with cross-functional teams
• Initiate and complete deviation, nonconforming, and out-of-spec investigations
