Job summary

Meridian Bioscience Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to perform testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products and uphold the company’s Quality System.

The role requires hands-on release testing, data analysis, SOP maintenance, and collaboration with Sr. QC staff to improve assay methods while ensuring CGMP/GDP/GLP compliance. Weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to document clearly.
• Highly organized with a structured, process-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with statistical tools (e.g., Minitab) and concepts in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and revise SOPs or other controlled documents in accordance with applicable regulations
• Perform raw material, in-process, and final release testing utilizing various analytical methods
• Perform data analysis of test results and review data for compliance to SOPs and specifications
• Maintain laboratory supplies and QC retain inventories
• Participate in interdepartmental test method development and validation
• Assist in the training and development of new Quality Control Analysts
• Support weekend and holiday testing as needed
