We are seeking a motivated and analytical Entry-Level Quality Control Analyst to support laboratory testing, sample analysis, and quality evaluation activities within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. The selected candidate will assist in examining raw materials, in-process samples, finished pharmaceutical products, and laboratory data to verify compliance with established quality specifications. This role is ideal for recent graduates interested in pharmaceutical analytical testing, laboratory operations, and product quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Sample Testing: Assist with receiving, labeling, preparing, and testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to approved laboratory procedures.
- Analytical Instrumentation: Support routine operation and documentation for laboratory instruments such as HPLC, UV-Visible spectrophotometers, FTIR, pH meters, and analytical balances, where trained and authorized.
- Analytical Data Review: Record test observations, organize analytical results, and assist with comparing findings against approved specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Raw Material Analysis: Support the testing and verification of incoming pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, and packaging materials according to established sampling and testing procedures.
- In-Process Quality Testing: Assist with quality checks during manufacturing to help identify variations and ensure that products meet predefined process requirements.
- Finished Product Evaluation: Support testing activities related to product identity, assay, dissolution, impurities, and other applicable quality parameters under appropriate supervision.
- Laboratory Documentation: Maintain laboratory notebooks, analytical worksheets, sample registers, instrument logs, and test reports in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Instrument Calibration Support: Help monitor calibration schedules, maintain equipment usage records, and report instrument issues to the responsible laboratory personnel.
- Out-of-Specification Support: Escalate unexpected or out-of-specification results and assist with investigation documentation under established laboratory procedures.
- Quality Compliance: Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), laboratory SOPs, data integrity requirements, and applicable safety procedures.
- Laboratory Inventory Management: Assist with tracking reagents, reference standards, solvents, consumables, and sample storage requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Analytical Development, and other laboratory personnel to support testing schedules and product release activities.
