Quality Control Analyst - Veterans Evaluation Services

Maximus is currently hiring for Quality Control Analysts to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Quality Control Analyst reviews Medical Disability Examination ("MDE") reports and Disability Benefits Questionnaires ("DBQs") generated by medical providers for veterans evaluated on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs ("VA"). The role involves ensuring reports are accurate, complete, and meet VA quality standards, working closely with medical providers to facilitate necessary corrections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review MDE requests for consistency with the DBQ.
• Check MDE reports and DBQs for completeness and grammatical accuracy.
• Coordinate with medical providers to correct reports prior to VA submission.
• Verify completion of special requests and second reviews as per VA preferences.
• Ensure diagnostics are completed, reviewed, and included with reports.
• Maintain daily case queues, updating notes and actions.
• Communicate with the Medical Advisory Board for cases needing additional review.
• Meet weekly/monthly qualitative and quantitative goals set by management and VA.
• Work the scheduled hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT, Monday-Friday, for 3-4 months with no absences.
• Be available to work overtime as needed.
• Use company-provided equipment for all work activities.
• Reside permanently in the Continental US; remote work location specified at hire; travel not permitted.

Home Office Requirements:

• Internet speed of at least 20 Mbps.
• Connectivity via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.
• Private work area and reliable power source.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Two years of quality assurance experience may substitute educational requirements.
• Experience in healthcare or quality assurance preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
