Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world’s relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.

Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We’ve been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Analyst to join our Quality Management team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet quality standards by conducting in-depth reviews and analysis of operational processes, monitoring procedures and compliance, proactively identifying areas of improvement, and partnering with responsible operations leaders to implement changes where necessary. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

You Will
  • Conduct comprehensive, risk-based quality control reviews to ensure adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Deliver concise, actionable insights in a structured format to enable continuous operational enhancements
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in both written and verbal formats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements in documentation, procedures, tools, and training
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation and reports
  • Support internal and external audits related to Customer Operations
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting Cash Customer Operations
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the Quality Management Program
You Have
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management, risk management, process improvement, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of an organization
  • Experience working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and accountable, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Confluence)
  • Proficiency in navigating SOPs and using data tools to identify inconsistencies
  • Knowledge of auditing practices and foundational quality assurance/control principles
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, even in ambiguous situations
  • Innovative thinker who contributes new ideas that support individual, team, and business growth
  • Technical Requirements:
    • Experience writing and using SQL queries (preferably in Snowflake)
    • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including formula-based data analysis
