Supervises those who support the development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements for both make and buy items. Ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards. Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques. Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met. Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies for both make and buy items. Reviews completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness. Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability. Develops and maintains governing procedures related to records control. Supports product acceptance and delivery per established process.


Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.


Basic Qualifications


  • Supervisory Experience: 1 to 2+ years of prior leadership or team-lead experience overseeing inspectors

  • Data Analysis: Ability to read engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and use software like Microsoft Excel or statistical process control (SPC)

  • Education: High school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of manufacturing and / or inspection experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret Clearance.


Desired Skills


  • In-depth knowledge of Fleet Ballistic Missile practices and processes.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with SAP Quality functions, including QNotes.

  • Experience interacting with DCMA, NOTU and US Government customers.

  • Experience with Quality inspections processes and understanding drawings, technical specs & GD&T.

  • Basic understanding of Ground Equipment, both electrical & mechanical.

  • STEM bachelor degree

  • Active Top Secret Clearance


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
