Job summary

Advance Staffing Solutions (The Advance Group) in Inkster, MI is seeking qualified Quality Inspectors to join a fast-growing manufacturing team. You will inspect welds, approve finish products, and document results. Overtime and Saturdays may be required; hours are Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm.

The position offers $19.00 per hour with health benefits, paid vacation, a 401K plan, referral bonuses, and performance incentives. Prior weld shop inspection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Excellent measuring skills using tape measure, caliper and other measuring devices.
• Working knowledge of welded steel products.
• 1 or more years’ prior experience as a Quality Inspector in a weld shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welds for defects by performing visual and measurement tests.
• Approve finish products and return products that need re-work.
• Document inspection results.

Job Duties for Quality Inspectors

Hours for Quality Inspectors

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Must be available for daily Overtime and occasional work on Saturdays.

Compensation

• $19.00/hr
