Job summary

Fastenal’s Edwardsville, KS distribution center is hiring a Part-time Quality Control associate to support product flow and accuracy. You will audit, inspect, and label products, operate RF scanners and printers, and help ensure compliance across departments.

This entry-level role offers 20–28 hours per week with a morning shift from 7:00am to 1:00pm. You’ll learn safety, environmental and sustainability practices, and join a team that values ambition, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Quality Control 9911 Woodend Rd, Edwardsville, KS 66111 MO100 Distribution Center Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 1:00pm 20 - 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Quality Control, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout our distribution center to company owned branches. You will be responsible for auditing and inspecting product for quality and accuracy within all departments of the warehouse. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 9911 Woodend Rd, Edwardsville, KS 66111. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
• 18 years of age or older
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
