Job summary

Tricon Wear Solutions is seeking a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the quality function across its fabrication, welding, hardfacing, and machining sites. The role focuses on ISO 9001 expansion, process maturity, and first-pass quality improvements while maintaining floor presence and independent decision-making.

The candidate will own the release authority, drive lean initiatives, and align quality standards across sites to reduce variation and improve on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing quality role with leadership experience.
• Hands-on floor experience in welding, fabrication, or machining and ability to read drawings.
• Proven track record with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen delivering measurable reductions.
• Ability to drive change across functions without direct authority.
• Strong ISO 9001 knowledge and audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature ISO 9001 QMS across multiple sites and audits.
• Hold release authority on quality holds without schedule pressure.
• Drive cross-site continuous improvement to reduce defects and cost of quality.
• Set and track improvement agenda with accountable actions and timelines.
• Ensure consistent inspection and release standards across sites.
• Manage supplier and incoming quality, including supplier corrective actions.
• Communicate quality status with customers and key accounts.
• Mentor and develop the quality team and ensure floor presence for root-cause problem solving.
