Job summary

Emotiv Mobility is seeking a strategic Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and continuous improvement across plant and office environments. You will champion data-driven decisions, oversee corrective actions, and serve as the primary liaison for customer quality concerns.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in automotive quality, Tier 1 experience, and supervisory roles, with Six Sigma and Core Tools expertise. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing-related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7–10 years of quality management in automotive, Tier 1 experience.
• supervisory quality control or QA role in turnaround manufacturing.
• Six Sigma Certification (Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
• ASQ CQE certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Proficient in Minitab and 8D problem-solving.
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools (Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Department; drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee corrective actions and track customer satisfaction metrics.
• Update and maintain Core Tools documentation after actions.
• Provide cross-functional leadership in problem-solving and data-driven reporting.
• Ensure product and process quality against specs; monitor KPCs and drive improvements.
• Maintain databases for accuracy/compliance; manage certification status and audits.
• Serve as primary plant contact for customer quality concerns; oversee supplier quality and incoming quality inspections.
• Support initiatives to reduce scrap and downtime; document quality activities.
• Adhere to safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.
