Job summary

New-Indy Containerboard is seeking an experienced Quality/Operations leader to ensure manufacturing excellence in a high-demand corrugated environment. The role focuses on cost-effective production, quality systems, and strategic objectives from a site in High Point, NC.

The position requires strong leadership, long-term process improvement, and the ability to manage budgets while driving KPI-driven results across manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to develop, formulate strategy and exercise good judgment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Excellent financial and budget management skills.
• 7-10 years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
• Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives.
• Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain company-wide quality systems and standards.
• Establish quality KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead quality assurance, audits, compliance, and corrective action programs.
• Partner with operations to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and audits.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, develop, and manage quality personnel.
