The Village Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Quality Compliance and Improvement Specialist to monitor and strengthen regulatory compliance, clinical documentation, and quality improvement across agency programs.

The role includes audits, data analysis, and training staff on documentation standards. The position requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, active licensure (ASW/AMFT/APCC or LCSW/LMFT/LPCC), and at least two years of Medi-Cal billing experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health required.
• Licensed or eligible to practice (ASW/AMFT/APCC or LCSW/LMFT/LPCC).
• Minimum 2 years' experience with LA County DMH documentation and Medi-Cal billing.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Hybrid work schedule with at least 50% in-office work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical documentation, compliance and audit oversight across agency programs.
• Prepare and deliver reports on audit results, compliance trends, and quality indicators.
• Provide training and coaching to staff on documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Travel to program sites to conduct audits and support compliance efforts.
