Job summary

Pathways for Life is seeking a Director of Quality & Compliance to build and lead a company-wide quality and compliance function. The role focuses on regulatory readiness, policy governance, and audit readiness, with responsibility for the Attendant Care Monitoring program and internal audits.

The successful candidate will lead a team, manage complex compliance requirements, and coordinate internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a healthcare/quality/compliance related field.
• 2+ years in healthcare compliance or related Medicaid-regulated programs preferred.
• Experience with accreditation processes (CARF or similar) preferred.
• Strong written communication for policies, SOPs, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA & Compliance Department, setting strategy and workflows.
• Oversee the Compliance Coordinator and Attendant Care Monitors.
• Maintain audit-ready records, credentials, and documentation.
• Oversee Attendant Care Monitoring program and corrective actions.
• Develop and lead internal audit program with risk-based reviews.
• Govern policies, procedures, and SOPs organization-wide.
• Coordinate external audits, licensing inspections, and regulatory actions.
• Lead accreditation readiness and renewals (CARF).
• Monitor regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement.
