Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join the plant's leadership team. You will partner with Quality and Production to ensure corrugated boxes meet quality standards on time in full.

The role focuses on calibration, process verification, data analysis, KPI tracking, and supporting QMS targets including audits and readiness. Previous corrugated manufacturing or quality leadership experience is preferred; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on a corrugated manufacturing asset, military, manufacturing and/or quality leadership role(s)
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to help Georgia-Pacific become the preferred supplier for our customers
• Participate in customer calls, perform site visits and create a Customer Communication Process where it adds value and positive impact to the overall customer experience
• Own calibration system for testing equipment ensuring compliance to calibration and validation needs as well as Product and Process verifications for compliance to expectations
• Utilize and coach plant teams in root cause analysis and corrective action to reduce defects and minimize returns
• Utilize data analysis to monitor quality performance and to identify and recommend improvements
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and take actions to drive positive change
• Assist Quality Manager in achieving QMS targets, in BRC, audits, readiness and corrective actions

Education

Associates’ degree or higher in science related or technical discipline
