Job summary

Munters Corporation in Selma, TX is seeking a Quality Closing Technician for the 1st shift. You will visually inspect finished units, verify conformance to specs, and follow CheckMate, BOMs, and product instructions.

You will apply labels, install manuals, secure items for shipping, perform final cleaning, document serials, and address NCRs with safety and quality at the forefront. This role supports timely production completion with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Visual inspection of finished units against specifications and engineering requirements.
• Familiar with CheckMate, ETQ, BOM and labeling requirements.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment safely in a production environment.

We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where interns are valued members of the team and are given meaningful projects to work on.Scope:Perform duties to visually inspect the construction of finished units to ensure conformance to prescribed product specifications and engineering requirements, following prescribed routines and making minor decisions.Essential Duties:Work with CheckMate and components including assembly drawings, BOM (bill of materials), product specifications, and work instructions for all production functions and related checklists.Adhere required labels to complete units including ETL listed labels, name plates, startup checklist, wiring diagrams, crane and rigging instructions, special instructions, and other labels as required by in BOM. Ensure that labels are positioned in proper locations and properly aligned.Place required user manual in the unit. Install “Attention Contractor” label in electrical cabinet on designated units. Secure all required uninstalled items inside units to protect against damage in transit. Perform final cleaning of units. Secure final inspection stickers. Address any non-conforming shipment issues and take required photos of the unit.Secure and bolt all doors. Ensure that all water source circuits are completely drained. Switch all MSP’s and breakers to off position. Review the job status in CheckMate to verify all processes have been completed.Document serial numbers of unit and any accompanying devices being shipped with the unit.Perform a visual inspection of all elements of completed the units. Inspect all areas of finished units using production area checklists as guides. Mark completed tasks in CheckMate and make note of any non-conformance.Address identified Non Conformance Report (NCR) as noted. Correct minor, cosmetic or non-repetitive NCR’s. Ensure all major or repetitive NCR’s are corrected by the process owners.
