Job summary

KLA in Totowa, NJ seeks a qualified engineer to lead chemical qualification of ECI products, ensuring all specifications pass. You will review data, prepare deviation reports, and coordinate configuration to meet chemistry requirements.

You will troubleshoot systems, own tasks to due dates, and apply metrology concepts while collaborating with global teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; OR Doctorate Degree in related field.
• Experience with chemical handling and interpretation of SDS/MSDS is a plus.
• Experience in chemical analytical techniques: Voltammetry, HPLC, ICP, Titration.

Responsibilities

• Qualify all ECI products to ensure successful system qualification per specifications.
• Review and validate chemical packages and qualification data.
• Create deviation reports for approval when data does not meet requirements.
• Follow qualification plans and pre/post procedures.
• Review and verify documentation for chemical specifications; communicate revisions and changes.
• Coordinate at configuration stage to meet specific chemistry requirements.
• Ensure issues are NC, closed with solution and corrected documentation.
• Apply metrology concepts; troubleshoot systems to complete projects on time.
• Take ownership of systems and meet deadlines.
• Review data, correct database mismatches.
• Mix chemicals using various volumes and chemistries per procedure.
• Perform actions safely and maintain housekeeping in the chemical area.
• Travel 5-10% if required.
