Job summary

United Felts seeks a full-time Flamebonder to monitor materials and ensure compliance with customer QCs. You will read sheets, assist with setups, and report quality issues. The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs, basic math, and adherence to PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 3 months on-the-job training required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material to ensure it matches customer requirements and QC standards.
• Read construction and customer requirement sheets fully to meet requirements.
• Assist coworkers in machine setups and wrapping material.
• Record quality problems and report to supervisor immediately.
• Label problem areas and complete paperwork for documentation.
• Periodically check material width to meet requirements.
• Monitor felt strip progress and change strip when needed.
• Ensure correct number of layers and rolls are used before runs.
• Daily propane tank weight checks.
• Perform other duties as needed and maintain clean work area.
