Quality Assurance Auditor - Winston Salem Rural Hall

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am to 6pm

Pay: $22.49/hr.

Summary

The Quality Assurance Auditor – Manufacturing position is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in implementing and assuring compliance within the QA department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform Quality Assurance Auditor duties as needed.
  • Inspect incoming materials as needed to assure conformance with specifications and release materials for use in production.
  • Collect, organize, and prepare Quality Assurance reports, as required.
  • Issue Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Preventative Action Request (CAPAs), as needed; follow up to ensure completion of the corrective action items.
  • Research quality issues.
  • Assist in internal and customer audits.
  • Participate in Customer recalls and annual mock recalls as needed.
  • Coordinate Pest Control Program as needed.
  • Ensure all tool calibrations are current and documented.
  • Assist with department training.
  • Assist the Food Safety Coordinator with duties as requested.
  • Verify compliance with cGMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Assist with and/or conduct cGMP training, if requested.
  • Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Overtime is required.
  • Communicate Company policies, procedures, and customer requirements to other WRMD employees and to participate/assist in their development as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
