Job summary

Grede is seeking a Quality Technician - Inspector to perform product audits across shifts, ensuring customer requirements are documented and met. You will work with plant personnel to verify root causes of non-conformances and implement effective corrective actions.

You will maintain audit records and calibrate inspection equipment, supporting the Quality system. You will assist the QA Supervisor with supplier audits, SPC program improvements, and the development of new inspection techniques,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in quality/foundry is preferred.
• Two years' foundry or similar experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits on each shift to ensure customer requirements are documented and met.
• Identify root causes of non-conformance and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain records of audit activities and calibration of inspection equipment.
• Assist QA Supervisor in maintaining the Quality system and supplier audits.
• Support SPC program improvements and new inspection techniques.
