Job summary

Lloyd Richards Personnel seeks a QA Auditor in Oklahoma to split time between ISO audits and hands-on inspection of welded, machined, formed, and painted parts. You will review supplier docs, ensure compliance, and maintain audit records.

The role requires strong measurement literacy, comfort with ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 sampling, SPC tools, and basic statistics. You’ll drive continuous improvement through PDCA, root-cause analysis and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with ISO 9001 requirements and capable of preparing, performing, and reporting internal audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, time management and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with basic quality tools (Pareto, cause-effect diagrams, flowcharts, SPC, PDCA).
• Six Sigma/Lean preferred; basic statistics, distributions, and process variation understood.
• Understand ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (MIL-STD-105E) for attributes sampling; manage document and nonconforming-requirements.

Responsibilities

• Protect safety and maintain a clean, orderly work environment; report issues affecting safety.
• Maintain knowledge of customer specs and industry regulations; ensure conformance.
• Manage internal audit program per ISO 9001 and procedure A007.
• Lead corrective action program with root-cause analysis and records per ISO 9001/ A006.
• Apply SPC techniques to assess controls and work with teams to improve processes.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections; identify and segregate nonconforming parts.
• Represent the company to customers and third-party auditors.
• Read and interpret prints and specifications; support quality planning.
• Assist in improving production paperwork and work instructions.
• Report shortages or problems to management; protect company assets and equipment.
