Job summary

Plastipak in Jackson Center, OH is seeking a Quality Auditor to audit systems and processes within our Quality program and ensure the Jackson Center site achieves top quality performance.

You will conduct inspections of in-process and finished plastic containers across the lab, production floor and warehouse, using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and adherence to customer specifications, while communicating issues clearly and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 12 hour night shift.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate issues and solutions clearly and professionally.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly.

• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and performance per customer specifications.
• Regularly engage with associates about product conformance.
• Grow knowledge and skills through training and on-the-job experiences.

Job description

As a Plastipak Quality Auditor, you audit systems and processes as they relate to our Quality program. You play a key role in assuring the Jackson Centersite achieves the highest quality performance.

Location: Jackson Center, OH

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential

Schedule: 3-2-2-3 rotation (3 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)

Nights: 7pm-7am

Key Responsibilities

Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality

Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications

Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance

Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

Qualifications

Ability to work 12 hour night shift

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills

Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis
