Job summary

Kraft Heinz is hiring a Quality Auditor for Oscar Mayer Lunchables at the Avon Plant in Avon, NY. Role focuses on sanitation audits, HACCP verification, and packaging quality checks across shifts.

Responsibilities include inspecting meat, materials, weight controls, and package integrity while maintaining compliance with sanitation programs and QA policies. Multishift coverage and overtime are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Prior manufacturing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative sanitation audits and daily housekeeping audits, coordinating corrective action.
• Perform bacteriological swabbing on equipment and environmental surfaces.
• Assure integrity of the HACCP plan by verifying metal detectors and ingredient statements.
• Conduct incoming meat and raw material inspections, including swabbing.
• Conduct hourly weight control checks utilizing the weight net computer.
• Perform residual oxygen and gas analysis on packages.
• Conduct seal strength analysis on packages.
• Conduct finished product evaluations (case audits).
• Place product on production hold as necessary and communicate holds to the Quality Systems Coordinator.
• Enter and track component complaint information on the component complaint log.
• Ensure compliance with the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program and quality assurance policies.

1st Shift: 6 AM – 2:30 PM (Mandated OT as needed)

Compensation Overview

• Starting pay: $22.69/hour
• Second Shift Differential: $1.25/hour
• Third Shift Differential: $2.50/hour

Physical Demands

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work on all shifts, cover vacations, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Prior manufacturing experience helpful.
